Dynamic Stretching

Warming up before exercising or playing sports is meant to prevent injury and prepare muscles for hard work. “Dynamic stretching” stretches muscles while the body is in motion and is a great way to warm up. Engaging in dynamic stretching before endurance-based sports like running and soccer can be very helpful. Some great warm up exercises include butt kicks, high knees, lunges and leg swings.
